Offers an excellent blend of green and blue graded trails – great for beginners and families – and red and orange graded routes which are definitely not for the faint hearted. There’s also a friendly café and bike shop with hire available, showers and a bikewash.

Ae is just 20 minutes from the M74 but when you’re riding the trails here you’ll feel like you’re miles from anywhere. The gentle Ae Valley green and Larch View blue routes offer a kind introduction to forest riding with the added bonus of the tranquil Water of Ae. The Ae Line is a red route with black options and an aggressive freeride style. There are some large and occasionally intimidating features as well as steep climbs and wild descents. The orange bike park graded Ae Downhill and Shredder are as challenging as they come with enough thrills to satisfy the most experienced adrenaline junkies. The on-site cafe is a great place to stock up after a day in the saddle and the bike shop has a well-stocked work shop and excellent qualified staff.
